There are two options for your comfort tour:

Libertad Jungle Lodge In front of the Pacaya Samiria national reserve and close to the Yarapa River, approximately 220km south west of Iquitos.

Amazon Dolphin Lodge located 30km down the Amazon River from Iquitos in the village of San Rafael. From here you can visit a monkey island, a arapaima (or 'paiche': one of the largest freshwater fish in the world), alligators and the feared and respected Piranha farm, and the yagua (an indigenous group in the Amazon).

During your stay at your chosen lodge or bungalow you can experience the jungle and visit the people living in the reserve. Day trips from base camp can take you into the jungle to see gigantic trees, monkeys, sloths and maybe even have you swinging like Tarzan in the trees. A ride in dugout canoes will take you to serene lakes with huge water lilies (Victoria regia) fish for Piranhas or have you spotting pink and grey dolphins in the river. In the evenings you can go out on foot or canoe to spot caiman, tarantulas and other nocturnal animals, camping (optional)

You can also choose to visit a local village, find out more about their life style and even learn something about medicinal plants.

For those that want a spiritual experience we can organise a shaman to take you through an ayahuasca ceremony. Please talk to May about this when discussing your trip.
